Deck Evaluation
A top-tier deck in whichever season it’s played.
It’s difficult to master unless you’re at least an intermediate player, and in mirror matches, only advanced players can secure a win.
It can counter Oricorio decks using Poison Barb and Nightmare Aura.
If equipped with Giant Cape, it can even survive a hit from Charizard ex.
How to Play, Strategy & Gameplay
While using Giratina ex as a wall in the Active Spot, raise both Giratina ex and Darkrai ex—two high-powered attackers—on the Bench at the same time.
Additionally, by attaching Poison Barb to the Active Giratina ex and placing Nihilego on the Bench, you can inflict poison damage.
Since Giratina ex takes recoil damage from its own attacks and is prone to getting Knocked Out, it’s best used as a finisher.
Use Giratina ex as a wall in the Active Spot while raising Giratina ex and Darkrai ex on the Bench.
Once the Active Giratina ex has three Psychic Energy attached, it’s ready. Retreat it using Leaf and bring Darkrai ex to the Active Spot to attack.
Same strategy as when going first.
To counter hand disruption, try to use a Supporter every turn while keeping key Supporters for the late game.
Who Should Use This Deck
Recommended for intermediate to advanced players who can memorize the effects of most Supporter cards and flexibly adapt to any situation.
